Lisboa Card + Pena Palace (Sintra)
If you want to visit a fairytale place in Portugal, then the Pena Palace in Sintra is just the place for you! This unique palace is a masterpiece of architecture. The bright yellow and red facades and the spectacular mix of neo-Gothic, neo-Manueline, neo-Moorish and Islamic architectural styles will enchant you.
The palace is enthroned on Monte da Pena and offers a magnificent view of the Sintra Mountains. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995, it is not only an architectural jewel, but also a testimony to Portugal's romantic era.
Although the Lisboa Card gives a discount of 10% on entry to the Pena Palace, we do not recommend going to Sintra with the Lisboa Card as the journey time is too long and the saving too small. Instead, you can buy this combined ticket and visit Sintra after the Lisboa Card has expired.
