Inclusions What is included in the Lisboa Card?
Free entry to 50+ museums and attractions in and around Lisbon, including Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, Castelo de São Jorge and Torre de Belém. You also get unlimited travel by bus, metro, tram and suburban train for the whole validity period. Ferries are not included.
Some attractions outside Lisbon are included as well, for example the Palácio Nacional de Mafra and the Convento de Cristo in Tomar. The Palácio Nacional de Sintra gives a 10% discount.
Activation When does the card become valid?
Validity starts when you use the card for the first time, not when you collect it. So you can collect the card in the morning and activate it later in the day.
From the first use, the duration you chose (24, 48 or 72 hours) runs continuously, including overnight. For example, activating a 24h card at 2pm means it is valid until 2pm the next day.
Cancellation Can I cancel for free?
Yes. Through our partner Tiqets, the Lisboa Card can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before your chosen collection date, with no reason needed and a full refund.
So you can book now and secure your voucher, even if your travel plans are not final yet.
Suitability Which duration should I choose: 24, 48 or 72 hours?
For most visitors the 48-hour card is the best choice. It gives you two full days to see the main attractions and use public transport.
The 24-hour card pays off if you only have one day for sightseeing and want to visit at least 3 top attractions. The 72-hour card works out particularly well if you plan a day trip to Sintra or Mafra.
Collection Where do I collect the Lisboa Card?
After buying, you receive a voucher by email straight away. You exchange it in Lisbon for the physical card at one of the official Ask Me locations.
The most convenient are Lisbon Airport (daily 7am–10pm) and the Terreiro do Paço location in the city centre (daily 10am–7pm). You have 28 days after your chosen collection date to collect.
