Services What is included in the Lisboa Card?
Free entry to 50+ museums and attractions in Lisbon and the surrounding area, including the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, the Castelo de São Jorge and the Torre de Belém. Plus unlimited local bus, metro, streetcar and ferry travel for the entire validity period.
Some attractions outside Lisbon are also included, for example the Palácio Nacional de Sintra and the Convento de Cristo in Tomar.
Activation When does the validity of the card begin?
Validity only begins when you use the card for the first time - not when you collect it. You can therefore collect the card in the morning and activate it later in the day.
From the first use, the selected duration (24, 48 or 72 hours) runs continuously, even overnight. For example: activation at 14:00 for the 24-hour card means it is valid until 14:00 the next day.
Cancellation Can I cancel free of charge?
Yes, through our partner Tiqets, the Lisboa Card can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours before the selected pick-up date - without giving a reason and with a full refund.
So you can book now and secure your voucher, even if your travel plans are not yet finalized.
Suitability Which term should I choose - 24, 48 or 72 hours?
For most visitors, the 48-hour ticket is the best choice. This gives you two full days to visit the main attractions and use local transport.
The 24-hour ticket is worthwhile if you only have one day for sightseeing and want to visit at least 3 top attractions. The 72-hour ticket is particularly worthwhile for a day trip to Sintra or Mafra.
Collection Where do I pick up the Lisboa Card?
After your purchase, you will immediately receive a voucher by email. You can exchange this for the physical card at one of the 8 official Ask Me locations in Lisbon.
The most convenient locations are Lisbon Airport (daily 7:00-22:00) and the Terreiro do Paço location in the city center (daily 10:00-19:00). After purchase, you have 28 days to collect the car.
